I'm using the Forum plugin and get a blank page when I attempt to add a forum. I checked the file (because I read some other posts), and it's not blank. The install log was all positive, and I chmoded all of the directories. What am I missing here? Anyone seen this?

Thanks Dirk!

I chaged the debug display to on, and got this.

/snip
Warning: main(/var/www/html/system/pear/HTML/BBCodeParser.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/html/admin/plugins/forum/boards.php on line 43

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required '/var/www/html/system/pear/HTML/BBCodeParser.php' (include_path='/var/www/html/system/pear/:.:/usr/share/pear') in /var/www/html/admin/plugins/forum/boards.php on line 43
/snip

Ichecked the path and the BBCodeParser.php file wasn't there so I assumed that PEAR wasn’t installed. After some googles I installed php-devel which I read to included the file. I also added the path in the include statement in my php.ini file and restarted the httpd service, however still no love. I did a find and it appears the file exists, however it is under /var/www/html/plugins/forum/system/pear/HTML/BBCodeParser.php. Before I really break something, what do I change to fix this?

Thanks for your help,

Ollie

Check your $_CONF['have_pear'] setting in config.php. Make sure you've added the missing file to the PEAR repository that Geeklog is using (i.e. either the one that ships with Geeklog or the one installed on your webserver).

It seems like the files were in two different locations. I shuffled some files around and viola it worked. Thanks for your help!!!
