RSS Feed numbers in RSS Feed in Block
I know there are many past topics about this but I cannot find an answer that works. I even went thru my old questions that I kept from previous questions and I can't solve my problem.
I want to limit the amount of feeds I created in a Portal Block using a URL as a RSS.
Past answers include editing the lib-common.PHP, but I cannot find any of the past answers in the latest lib-common.PHP file.
One question on Aug 11 2003 said find the //Limit links to X and that verbage is no longer in the PHP file.
Another response to that same question on the same date was to edit $RDFheadlines = array_splice($RDFheadlines,5);
I can't find any of these comments in the lib-common.PHP file. I searched and searched and hate asking the same questions cause I know you all got better things to do but..
If I create portal block, use a RSS feed in the URL how can I limit the number of feeds to a number I want.
Or should I create a lib-custom.php and use that? Problem is I can't find instructions on how to enter the right code into the lib-custom.php file or where to put it. Newbie at his finest...
FYI: I searched this site for 5 days before posting...I swear..!!!! :-)
