Staticpage ratings

Hey

I've been trying to get the rating plugin working with staticpages using the autotags but for whatever reason they dont appear.

Lets say I have a staticpage with id test

I'd use

[*rating:test 1 5 256] which diplays nothing, if I enter an invalid flag I get the error message.

Anyone any ideas?

Many thanks

Have you first created a rating totals object?

This can be done in the admin section. Once created you can then use the rating autotag.

Hi

Yes I had, gonna do a complete reinstall of geeklog tonight, I got this working somewhat for a while in where I could submit and edit reviews fine, although there was an issue with no page header or footer showing when you edit a review in chameleon. A few things were done on our server at the weekend which has broken a few things, rss feeds is one, ratings is another, it is hit or miss now whether I can add one and just cant seem to edit them at all, changes dont seem to get saved.

But I will see this evening what a complete fresh install does.

Sounds good, let me know the issues, if any after the reinstall.

I'm hopefully going to be updating the rating plugin soon again so if you are having issues I'm interested in finding out what the problem is. Lets keep this conversation going at gllabs since that is where I will now be hosting the rating plugin.
