when i try to add a photo to any story it looks ok in the editor but does not apear on the page after is publish

Geeklog filters out <img> tags by default - in articles and comments, that is. Should work in static pages, though.

Depends on the Geeklog version: In 1.5.0 and later, use the Configuration Admin panel:

Configuration > Geeklog > Miscellaneous > HTML Filtering > Admin HTML

In earlier version, it's in your config.php, $_CONF['admin_html'].
