db backup error Backup Filesize was less than 1kb
This was fresh install of gl .15.1 by my hosting, godaddy, everything is ok , but i`m unable to make backup.
I have some more older gl and it works perfectly, so problem is not in hosting.
Tryed to change permissions on backups folder even to 777 but it is the same.
Here is what i have found in log:
I dont understand it well so i need some help to figure this out.....
I also tryed thing that other people did with same problem but id didnt work.
I dont think that problem is with permissions becouse it makes the file in backups dir bt it`s size is 0 , if permissions were problem it would not make the file ?
Regards
Sasa

So the file created is really 0 bytes and not a few bytes? I've seen cases where it contained an error message ...
As you said, the directory permissions seem to be fine or it wouldn't have created that file. So I guess mysqldump couldn't connect to the MySQL server.
Can you ssh into your account? It would be interesting to see what happens when you try that command (with the correct password) from the command line.
bye, Dirk
