Planet plugin?

From my private list of ideas: Has anyone considered writing a Planet plugin?
A Planet is a feed aggregator, i.e. it merges serveral feeds into one and then displays all the articles, ordered by date, on one page. That's a great way to have all the feeds from a collection of related sites in one place.
I would think that with Geeklog's ability to read various feed formats (that we hardly use - only for the feed blocks) this should be relatively easy to write.
Oh, and you could use the Plugin Toolkit to create a plugin skeleton to start off from ...
