I have 20000 articles on my site

sometimes when I publish some new story it's displaying error:
Text Formatted Code
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 3124211 bytes) in /home/public_html/plugins/xmlsitemap/xmlsitemap.class.php  on line 521

how to fix it?

You could set an upper memory limit in your php.ini file then resart your server.

Text Formatted Code

; Maximum amount of memory a script may consume (128MB)
; http://php.net/memory-limit
memory_limit = 128M
