G2Bridge for Gallery 2.1 has been released.

Formerly GL_Gallery2 this version has been fully updated to take advantage of the all new Gallery 2.1 API.

Note: This version does not work with Gallery 2.0.x Only with 2.1 or greater.

  • v1.0 [18 Mar 2006] Forked to G2Bridge for compatibility with Gallery 2.1
    • [new] Fully updated Gallery 2.1 API
    • [new] Added option for My Gallery link (for use with User Album Module) as apposed to Gallery2 link in User Menu
    • [new] Added option for alternate login redirect in config.php
    • [fix] Now adds installing user to G2 Admin Group instead of mapping user G2 admin user (which may not exsist)
    • [fix] No More Path Confusion :)

You can get this fabulous plugin here. And support can be found on my site here, and geeklog here.

Geeklog You are blogging about your latest trip and you want everyone know where you actually went. You might want to link to google maps, but why make the people go away from your page if you can integrate Google maps on your page? This is how to do it:

1. Get a google maps key at http://www.google.com/apis/maps/signup.html
2. Create a static page and paste in the following code:

Plugins After quite a long delay, I've finally got to v0.5.0 of the Gallery2 integration plugin. This version will allow you to use it with Geeklog 1.4 if you choose to turn off register_globals and automatically maps all users from Geeklog into Gallery2.

You may get more information or download it through my geeklog software page.

v0.5.0 [01 Mar 2006]
* [fix] should work with register_globals off
* [fix] addresses the problem of new users not being able to see the random photo block until after they've visited the gallery
* [new] maps users and their settings into G2 [thanks Anthony Yvanovich]
o whenever a user is added or removed from Geeklog, the user will be added or removed from G2
o whenever a user's info is changed in Geeklog, it will be updated in G2
o when updating to 0.5.0 or installing fresh, all Geeklog users will be mapped into G2

Note: My real work is keeping me too busy to work on this plugin. I will not be able to offer much one-on-one support for it, so please post to the forums whenever possible.
