The beta release of the Inmemoriam Media Gallery for Geeklog 1.3.11 is now available for public use. I'm calling this a beta release simply because it may not be 100% free of defects. Find it in the Geeklog download section or at SummitPages.ca.

I'm sure you've realized by now what Inmemoriam is--a media gallery plug-in designed specifically to run inside of Geeklog making use of Geeklog's user database as well as many of its core functions. Inmemoriam Media Gallery for Geeklog was inspired by a combination of factors not the least of which are both Geeklog's need for an integrated gallery solution designed with Geeklog in mind, and my personal preference for something other than the current mainstream options. My name is Alford, and I hope you enjoy using Inmemoriam as much as I've enjoyed developing it. Does that ever sound like a commercial :P

Some features include: media stored outside of the webroot, watermarking, my favorites album, backup utility, permissions system based on Geeklog's own, etc. A full list of features and special features can be found in the usage doc included in the package. For screenshots of the gallery visit SummitPages.ca.

The GD graphics library is required for this beta release. Future releases will (hopefully) support NetPBM and ImageMagick. Read the install instructions carefully. If you have installation issues, bug reports, or any other relevant issues or comments, please post them in Geeklog's plugin help forum.

Plugins I've just posted the Ewiki 1.2 version of the ErfurtWiki plugin to the downloads section of this site, and on my site. Please give it a try and let me know if you have any issues.

This version allows users to prevent anonymous posters from accessing the site. If you do want to allow anonymous to access the site, then you can do so in the Geeklog group administration page.

Cheers,

Euan.

Geeklog

As announced earlier, the old Geeklog themes (Classic, Clean, Digital Monchrome, Gameserver, Smooth Blue, XSilver, Yahoo) have now been removed from CVS and will no longer be maintained by us.

Instead, they are now available from the CVS of the GPlugs project.

And as a reminder: They are also available for download in a version that's compatible with Geeklog 1.3.10 and 1.3.11.
