Geeklog (and for the record PostNuke ;-)
I've found this article recently and thought you'd like to know that one of IT magazines in Poland recommends Geeklog as one of the best portal solutions.
There were many criteria taken into consideration. Among others there were localization (in this case Polish version available), 99% of language data in one place. Then advanced user access management system, easy document management system, archiving, etc., static pages option, modular architecture.
Well done GL team.

Geeklog No, don't freak out...this site - one you have all come to love - isnt' changing. We have created a new Project Website for hosting all Geeklog development projects which currently include both 1.3.x and 2.x. This site is available to module developers also and we strongly encourage you use it to centralize all Geeklog development. The project site is based on gForge a simplified fork of the SourceForge.net software.

Geeklog I need to be enlightened. I am running GL on my local puter using windows XP and apache and php 4.3 and register_globals in the php.ini file seems to be off. GL seems to work just fine with register globals off on my test puter. Is this possible or am I just looking at the wrong php.ini file.

Thanks Mark
