Geeklog I've just completed testing the integration of Gallery with the just released Geeklog 1.3.6rc1. I used the latest stable release of Gallery ver 1.3.1 which is highly recommended as there are several security patches and other bug fixes.

Good news: I had no problems and used the current availble integration directions.

I took time afterwards to try and improve the documentation and repackaged the archive with copies of the modified gallery 1.3.1 version files with the geeklog changes.

You can download them from my site

Geeklog

While this isn't actually related to GeekLog, I did create this with GeekLog and all Geeks in mind. It's a 1280x1024 wallpaper: "The geek shall inherit the earth."

View it here.

Just a little fun to spice up the daily monotony of Got Geeked, Help, PHP Blocks, and Bugs posts. Perhaps you could make a new category, GL Desktops, for all us geeks who visit this site? Or delete this post and forget the image ever existed?

In any case, happy geeking.

Programs Similiar To GeekLog...?

I really like GeekLog and it's concepts, but because we want to redo our web site, we need to find a PHP application that is similiar in scope and nature to GL. The program we are looking for would be running in the background while being able to embed certain parts of the application to the web site unlike the current version og GL does; we may eventually go back to GL2 when it comes out if the above is possible with it. If anyone can help, please let me know.
