Ever wanted to have a scrolling message in one of your blocks or display a series of messages and links in a smaller block area?

I used a couple of scripts from www.dynamicdrive.com to do this and it works pretty nice.

Creating a new block of normal type and inserting the HTML code which uses the IFRAME Tag into the block content area. You can modify the size and position. The scripts read from an external file so it's easy to update.

To see them in action check out my site here. I've used them on the right for a Quick Notes block and an assorted Downloads block.

... crawling along on all fours like an amnesiac with a hangover? http://g-comm.net/ is pleased to announce the almost working installation of phpBB, integrated into Geeklog. Well, I use the term \"integrated\" in the loosest possible sense.

Login does not carry over from Geeklog to phpBB, however logout does. Attempting to view the forums without being logged in produces errors.

Anyway, I believe this is only the second known case of someone being stupid enough to waste a weekend on this? (sigh) And they only ever remember the first person to do anything...
