Howdy everyone ... I've finished the first phase of my new theme. It's called Smooth Blue and it's sitting in the CVS for people to test. Once I'm happy it's ready for prime time, I'll include it into this site, and I'm sure it will be included in the next release.

I recently posted an article about not being able to properly view my site from inside my firewall.

I believe the problem to be that I can not reach the actual dns name from inside the firewall. So I have to use the IP for the machine, this causes the web page to not bring up any of the graphics.

I guess I need to know if anyone else is running geeklog behind a firewall, if so how are you administering the box from inside the firewall.

Ok, Geeklog is slowly but surely coming out of the basement of weblogs and getting some much deserved respect. However, one thing that continues to bother me a bit is the lack of contributed plugins. The static pages plugin was one I authored. We have a number of great hacks and PHP blocks but not one polished plugin has some out by a third party. So my question is why? Poor documentation? Poor plugin API design? I know I shouldn\'t do this but I look at the *nukes and they have hundreds of plugins. Let us know what we can do to make it easier for you all to innovate and create new Geeklog plugins!
