I just set up geeklog (actually twice now, got same behaviour) and whenever I create a new poll, the icons to the left of the answers dissappear. (the little circles you click on to vote)
How do I fix this?

I guess that's a case of How do the polls work?

I read the link you showed me and I dont think cookie or timeout settings are the problem. At least I am seeing this behaviour on multiple computers and browsers. I will continue to research this problem. Thanks.

are these computers all sharing the same IP, ie, are they all behind the same proxy server for example? In that case, simply put, they are all treated as the same computer as far as the www is concerned.

OK Thanks, changing the following settings to 1 did seem to fix it:

$_CONF['pollcookietime'] = 86400;
$_CONF['polladdresstime'] = 604800;

I am now trying to figure out why users cannot post comments to polls.
