moving from windows to redhat

Now that I have geeklog up and running, made some modifications, and have things pretty much working and stable, it is now time to screw everything up by switching OSes.
Does anyone have any advice/experience doing this migration with mysql and geeklog? Are there any sticky points? I plan to use phpmyadmin to make a dump of the existing database (structure and data) and then just import it back in....sounds easy, which is why I am concerned.
I am pretty confident I can get redhat, apache, php, and mysql installed correctly, I am mostly concered about the database AND any issues with GL...
any advice would be appreciated

You might want to use the integrated database backup feature and then restore it using mysql. I have done several re-installations (disk crash) and restored my database backup. Don't know if you have other products, plugins or blocks integrated so you will need to consider these items as outside of what a GL install and a DB restore will cover.

I've done a straight dump of table structure and data, reinstalled GL and then dropped all tables in the database and reimported the dump file several times using phpMyAdmin when I screwed up and there's been no trouble at all.
