I am in the process of setting up a community site at http://g-comm.net/ using Geeklog. The site is bilingual English/Japanese, which I am generally doing with a table in static pages to split the page in two (left English, right Japanese) which is wide, but works. I would like to be able to do this with normal articles too - but in HTML mode you can't use tables. Is there a possibility of allowing the use of the tags in HTML posts? I seem to remember reading an article about this once but can't find it again. Also, in HTML posts when I enter char codes ( & 6 0 ; etcetera) they turn into the character after preview. This is inconvenient when you're trying to write an HTML post or static page explaining basic HTML tags.... Cheers, Euan.

You can easily allow tables in your HTML posting - just extend the list of allowable HTML in your config.php bye, Dirk
