I'm trying to backup the database. When I click "Do Backup", it posts a message saying: "Database back up was successful." However it isnt listing this backup at all, and says there are no backups in the system. Any ideas?

Two, actually 1) Check that the backups directory is writeable. Try chmod 775 or, if that doesn't help, chmod 777. 2) Make sure your path to mysqldump (in config.php) is correct. Geeklog 1.3.5sr1 will not complain if it can't find mysqldump (this has already been fixed in CVS). Hope that helps. bye, Dirk

I've tried both of these recommendations but still can't perform backups. (See my comment to egegration's post.)

Can you recommend anything else?

Though I haven't completely resolved the issue, I'm sure that it's a matter of correctly configuring PHP's safe mode. (I'm trying to limit PHP's safe_mode_exec_dir to the mysqldump executable.) (See my response here.)
