Delegating Editorial Control for Sections

I've got several folks who I'd like to give editorial control for sections/topics of my site. (That is, I'd like one person to have editorial control of the Politics section, able to submit stories without needing approval.) I've created groups for each editor, and have ensured that all stories are posted belonging to appropriate groups. But I'm not sure how to delegate editorial control. Is it an all-or-none kind of thing, or does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried placing them in the StoryAdmin group? This allows users to create and I assumed (possibly wrongly) that they can also approve and edit stories. Blaine

I think/assume StoryAdmin just has the story.edit and story.moderate permissions. So that would give my authors *complete* editorial control. What I'd like is for them to have editorial control for a specific *topic*. (ie, I want one person to have "Business" editorial control, another to have "Politic" editorial control, but not both)
