Hi i want to know of it is possible to use the same templates from then blocks and the news item to the static pages. Which code do i have to use for this. So i want the static page in the same template as the news items so not only on a black background. Any ideas?

I assume your question is how to wrap static pages in a block so that they look like a block or like a normal story? The good news is, that this has already been implemented in CVS. So in Geeklog 1.3.6 you will have the option to do just that. The bad news is, that the static pages code in 1.3.5 is a bit messy. In theory, all you need to do is to stick calls to COM_startBlock() and COM_endBlock() in at the proper places ... bye, Dirk

so it's possible after all, i was just wondering about that but the coding part, i guess i just have to leave it to you guys, the Experts...will wait for the next release...hope we can just migrate the static pages over with nothing lost on the way.
