I've just replaced phpweblog-0.5.2 with geeklog-1.3.5sr2 and I'm very impressed. My configuration is FreeBSD-4.6, MySQL-3.23.51, apache-1.3.26 and mod_php4-4.2.1. I have noticed, using the Xsilver theme, that when switching between functions when logged-in or as Admin, my browser presents a blank page between pages of content. When navigating geeklog's block and story functions this doesn't happen. Is this normal behaviour or am I, in some way, misconfigured? Even despite this little display oddity, geeklog appears to work quite happily.

Yeah, that's normal behaviour. If you watch the URL field of your browser, you will find that you are being redirected to users.php and then back to the page were you logged in from. So that's why you see a blank page for a short while. bye, Dirk
