i uplaoded again going buy all the settings noted. i now get this error when i go to the install path: Parse error: parse error, expecting `T_CONSTANT_ENCAPSED_STRING' in /home/indoncaste/public_html/geeklog-1.3.5sr2/public_html/admin/install/install.php on line 158 also when i navigate my way to the admin folder using IE i get this error: http://indoncaster.com/geeklog-1.3.5sr2/public_html/admin/ i am using the latest stable release. please please, can you fix it for me! You have one or possibly more typos in your config.php. Make sure that you enclose your DB settings and path variables in single quotes (like in the original config.php), e.g. $_DB_pass = 'yourpasswordhere'; $_CONF['path'] = '/your/path/to/geeklog/'; bye, Dirk
