Hi, I setup geeklog and may I say great job. Except for one problem. I cant customize anything like polls,storys, or anything that needs the sql db. Whenever I try to change the poll or Write a "New" story it tries to take me to the page, gives me a black background and stops. I looked at my error.log, and it says: Wed Jul 31 00:20:18 2002 - 2013: Lost connection to MySQL server during query SQL in question: SELECT grp_id FROM glgroups WHERE grp_name = 'Story Admin' --- Now that was when i tried to create a new story. I dunno Im pretty stumped.. It also says that in the View Source file in the php file.. like when you click on the background. HELP! Asap. thank you. subnet__@undernet

This is a problem with your MySQL server, not with Geeklog.

Try to search for that error message on groups.google.com or in the FAQ on mysql.org.
