When a new story is created, its default permissions include anonymous users. Is there a way to to change the default permissions for new stories? (Currently, I have to go and edit the new story when approving it, and deselect the anonymous permission). Thanks, Greg

The way it should work is that you set the proper permissions for the topic and when someone posts under that topic, the permissions are taken from there. This does not work properly in 1.3.5sr2 yet, but will in 1.3.6. bye, Dirk

I've been trying to get this to work as you said it should in GL 1.3.6, but the message permissions are all checked still after posting the message, even though the Topic settings have "anonymous" turned off. Any suggestions?

This will only work for new submissions under that posting. Also, when you write stories as the admin user, you will always have to set the permissions manually (not sure if that should be considered a bug or a feature ...). bye, Dirk
