You haven't set $_CONF['path'] at all, it seems, since it still says "/path/to/geeklog". Please read the installation instructions again carefully, it really is all explained there. bye, Dirk

You need to fix the parse error, then the second error will go away, too. Check lines 73 and 74 in your config.php carefully. Make sure the site name and site slogan you entered are each enclosed in single quotes ' and that the lines end with a semicolon. bye, Dirk
