Hi people, I went through the whole installation thing on the 1.3.5sr2 geeklog. So after the 2nd install page in which it warns you to backup your files then click next, it set up my database and then it redirected to a page that doesnt exist. My database is fine and correctly setup, but then when I try to goto www.mygeeklog.com/public_html/index.php it tells me this, Parse error: parse error in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gurukit.com/httpdocs/public_html/lib-common.php on line 2636 Fatal error: Cannot instantiate non-existent class: template in /usr/local/psa/home/vhosts/gurukit.com/httpdocs/public_html/lib-common.php on line 334 So if anyone could shed the light on a dumbass like me and my problem, please do so and thanks in advance.

The parse error sounds suspiciously like a corrupted lib-common.php. The usual causes are a) using WinZIP to unpack the tarball or b) using Dreamweaver to edit the file. If you used either of these, please start with a fresh copy of that file (use WinRAR this time and a simple text editor). The other problem you're having (not finding the success page) was because your $_CONF['site_url'] was not set correctly in config.php. bye, Dirk
