Is it possible to make article submission possible for article users only?? I mean that no one except them can submit story (while trying the message like "If you wish send your story by e-mail to us and we will publish it" should appear) Joanna

That's a strange request. I mean, isn't that one of the main ideas behind a Geeklog site - to get users to submit stories? Of course, you can simply hide the "get published" links or change them to display the message you want instead (you can actually do that in the theme, no code change necessary). You could also change the submit/submitstory.thtml file and remove the form from it so that nobody can enter a story even when they guess the correct URL. Or you could simply ignore submitted stories ... bye, Dirk

of course I want users to submit stories maybe another way I wanted this, because I cannot check for new stories everytime and it is important for the site to publish stories asap. When I receive it by e-mail I know it very quickly. Maybe I didn't tell it well, but from the other side - is there any possibility to get an information by e-mail about waiting stories??

It should be easy to add a call to mail() in submit.php so that an email is sent every time someone submits a story. bye, Dirk
