I wonder if you can help me. Tonight I was adding in a new story on my site and experienced an SQL error (sorry, didn't record the details as my browser crashed immediately afterwards, but had something to do with a ' in a title - solution to this quirk welcomed). Anyway, the major problem. I went back in and deleted said story using the Edit function from the page - but then when I refreshed the screen ALL STORIES had gone! I have gone back to a backup (not ideal as missing lots!) to put the basics back in placebut would be interest to hear what could have caused this (as I don't want to do it again!). I thought that the Delete function from within a Story in GeekLog only referred to that story, not all? Many thanks for any solutions Glenn (WorldofEvents.net)

Not sure what exactly happened to you, but the Admin story functions are missing a sanity check in 1.3.6. Someone else already ran into this with an incomplete language file (did you change anything there?) and in theory, when the delete function is executed with a story id of 0, then it would delete all the stories. But I have no idea how that could have happened ... bye, Dirk
