GeekLog Keeps Users Logged In!?!

The website (www.australianbandstand.com) has being Geek'ed. Problem is, the website is accessed from school by my friends, which in turn is shared internet over a network and proxy server. What happens is that when someone logs in, any other person can bring up the website on another computer and be logged in under their account. Thoughts for a fix? Btw, awesome product.

Sounds like your proxy is caching cookies(?!) which it really shouldn't do ... bye, Dirk

In ASP there is an unLoad sub that you can call on that will fire off whenever the browser is unloaded. I did some poking around thru the PHP manual and don't see an equivalent, but maybe our resident PHP guru's could tell you for sure. If one does exist, you could call on that and destroy the client cookie after every browser session is closed. Users would have to log in each time they visited the site, but it would resolve your issue of anyone at school automagically being logged in. ---Paul 'T1Pimp' http://www.Huggybeer.com - Embrace your inner geek
