can anyone please tell me what is a static page really is used for... thanx... or maybe an example off what it can do

Static Pages are useful for static content (hence the name) that won't quite fit in a story. Things like an "about us" page, for example, or an FAQ. For further examples, I'd suggest you have a look at the menu bar here on www.geeklog.net. bye, Dirk
