is there a way to get a java script pop-up working on an article. whenever i tried it swapped the command "onClick" to "inClick" and wouldnt work. has anybody fixed this! or can any one tell me how to get them working thankyou

This has been done on purpose to prevent the injection of malicious Javascript code in stories. If you really want, you can remove the code from the function COM_killJS() in lib-common.php but that would open up all kinds of security holes on your site ... Besides, popups are one of the most annoying things on the Web and you should really think twice before using them on your site and risk annoying (and thus losing) your visitors ... bye, Dirk

yes but its the only way i can get a rating system working, with my limited knowledge of php! what sort of security holes ar we talking about here?
