sorry to bother you guys... Would the backup function dump the data of the table "staticpages"? Since I can't locate any data or table definition for the static page table. Anyone could tell me how could I accomplish this (dumping the data of static pages) or simply i missed something? thanks.

Yes, the contents of the staticpage table will be included in the backup. Actually, it will create a backup of the entire database - including tables that don't belong to Geeklog at all (but just happen to be in the same database). bye, Dirk
