Gallery new album problem

Gallery was playing fine with GL (1.3.6) all along then one fine day, when i tried creating a new album, it says "Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/etegrati/public_html/rssitzone/public_html/gallery/classes/User.php on line 155" Line 155 of user.php says: if ($album->canCreateSubAlbum($this->uid)) { what happened?
