How can I enable Cookies on phpFM program?

Hello, I have just installed phpFM file manager on my site. I have also installed external page plugin, and linked the ../phpfm/index.php as an external page with the geeklog header and left pannel included. If I open ../OEM/phpfm/index.php, it works fine with username and password, where I can browse files, upload files, edit files etc. But once I upload ../phpfm/index.php, it opens the phpfm index.php file with geeklog header and left pannel, but once I try to login on my Virtual Web Drive, it would not go. I am assuming that it has something to do with the cookies, because the phpfm also tries to write the cookies and geeklog does it as well.
Can someone help me how to configure phpFM to work on geeklog?
Thank you for your help!
