I think I seen this done before but I forgot where... I have a phpBB2 messageboard, an awstats statistics page, phpMyAdmin and a Zend Optimizer information page I would like link to from Geeklog to appear inline on Geeklog... Any ideas? In other words I want to link to these pages and when someone clicks on the link the page loads up in the center of the portal or better yet on a specially designated page where I can have special blocks appear... Suggestions?I just dont want anyone leaving the site... > Thanks for the help, links to more info is greatly appreciated

There are two things that I can offer to help you.
1) I developed two templates for this purpose: for plain html or for for php content.
2) My External Pages Plugin which integrates external pages into Geeklog searching and stats.

You forgot the third option (though I can understand why):
browser doesn't support inline frames, click here to open the page in a
new window</iframe>

3. Use an iframe tag to call the page's content from within a static page.
Code sample:
Text Formatted Code
<iframe src="http://yourdomain.com/yourpage.ext">Your browser doesn't support inline frames, click here to open the page in a
new window</iframe>
Just add in the appropriate parameters and you're set.

It all sounds very good as I would like to intergrate as much as I can so in a sense I have a central interface but can you show me a page with instructions as to the plug-ins you provide? It is kind of hard to guess exactly what the functions are... Thank you so much for helping me out

Thanks but a few problems prop up with iframes... One without a width or height attribute I get a small tiny box window... with both XY properties at 100% I cannot resize without shrinking the iframe window in IE... The fix is making the the height attibute an absolute size other than a percentage... But heres the real kicker... An iframe eats up my right and bottom borders... Any one have a clue?
It completely erases the right side border and completely erases the footer... I know this shouldn't be happening... Anyone know of a fix for this?

Besides the resizing problem and solution I know what happened as to why the iframe ate up my right and bottom... I left out the closing </iframe> tag... That problem solved
