Geeklog on other port than 80?

Hi, I just installed Geeklog 1.3.7sr1 and everything works just fine. Now I am trying to run it on a different port, but somehow don't seem to be able to get this working. I use apache 1.3.27r1 and my .conf files are all configured to the alternate port. But everytime I load the page into my browser, it refreshes to port 80 (where nothing can be found). I also modified config.php to contain the site_url variable to 'http:///www.mydomain.com:port', but this doesnt seem to make any difference. Any ideas? Thanks, Q.

Hmm, I think I know where the problem is: In index.php, right after the require_once(), remove or uncomment lines 49-62, i.e. the block of code that starts with "if (isset ($HTTP_SERVER_VARS['HTTP_HOST']) ...". Hope that helps. bye, Dirk

My site runs on port 8080 with no trouble... Are you sure you added the port to ALL configuration URLs? Nuke... ---Nuke...
