I've noticed that upon upgrading my php 4.3.0 to 4.3.1 a speed decrease... What took an average of 0.10 seconds a page to load now takes either up to 0.20 to 0.40 seconds... Has anyone come across this issue? Also I know that once I am logged in the speed will degrade even more... I can see max times of 0.80 seconds... Is this good? What is a good speed to clock? I hit an average of 360k upload but my geeklog site (fresh install) seems funny... I only have 3 plugins... FileMgmt, Chatterbox & Forums...All is newly installed onto my own machine 1.2GHz Athlon, 512RAM, 80Gigs HDD, Cable Connection 2megs down, 360 up (average)...I decided to mention this because I've gone to other sites and I see speeds of 0.09... Even the Geeklog site is faster and it has mad content all over...Also since I am on Windows I use Zend Optimizer... Should I drop it? Is there something better out there? Thanks for your time and any answers in advance

I would assume that having to display the Admin menu slows things down somewhat when you're logged in as an Admin. This is because Geeklog performs additional SQL requests to count the number of stories, users, etc. which are displayed in the Admin menu.
