Just a question

Greetings, I downloaded Geeklog the other day, have been running it on my laptop and have to say that so far I'm very impressed. So to the question... Are there any guidelines, help files, or utilities for creating new language files? I would like to create a Tagalog and perhaps a Cebuano language file for a site I have in mind. Thanks, Ron

All you have to do is rename english.php into tagalog.php and translate the English text into Tagalog. Hope that helps.

Also, you should be joining the geeklog-translations mailing list. This is the place where we post changes to the language files prior to new releases. It's also a good place to ask question specific to localisation. bye, Dirk

Greetings, I'm not Filapino, but my wife is. We are looking at Geeklog to run a site for a Filapino American association. Thus, the translation, but she will be doing the translating.. It's all Greek (er.. Tagalog) to me. Ron----rrt
