If you are having problems and need some help, here are some pointers that will help you.1. Reread the installation document.http://www.geeklog.net/docs/install.htmlIt is quite clear and even lists the most basic errors and solutions. The time it takes to reread the document might trigger the subconscious for the solution or some good questions.2. When posting a question, it would be nice to know the following. A. Operating system B. Type of hosting ( dedicated or shared) C. Geeklog Version D. Webserver Version E. PHP Version F. Link to the problem site Nice to haves G. Plugins installed H. phpinfo() - maybe a link 3. Search geeklog.net4. Search gplugs.sourceforge.net, squatty.com. Based on the problem you might need to go the plugin developers site.5. Need instant help, try IRC (server: irc.freenode.net, channel #geeklog) and ask away. Usually someone is one that can help, but you might want to wait a few minutes before logging off. People are doing more than one task when they are on IRC.6. Send a message to the mailing list. http://lists.geeklog.net/listinfo/geeklog-users7. Take a big breath and relax, it isn't life or death. A clear mind solves problems quicker.8. Flattery will get you everywhere.I hope this helps and happy logging.Dwight

I would actually recommend "Search geeklog.net" as the second thing to do - chances are good that your problem has been discussed before. If you get an error, try searching for the error message.
Other than that - nice list, Dwight.
bye, Dirk
