Static Pages acces rights

Here is my situation: User_A in group Group_A and User_B ing Group_B. Bouth groups has privilege staticpages.edit. Is it possible that only User_A can edit static page called Info_A (acces right of this page is set to Group_A and only checkboxes (R E) Group are set) ? I've notice that User_A can edit all static pages and User_B too? Can i change it?

You would need to install Tom Willet's version of the Static Pages plugin to be able to do this. bye, Dirk

I believe he's using Tom's plugin ;-) I tried to configure it but still users from different goups can edit static pages that don't belong to them:
I created user A and assigned him to group A (created earlier)
I created user B and assigned him to group B (created earlier)
Those users can create static pages, but do not belong to Static Pages Admin group
When user A creates a static page this page is owned by him and belongs to group A
However when user B logs in he can edit the page created by user A.
Am I doing something wrong?

If you just remove the staticpages.edit rights from Group_A and Group_B, but make sure that the Group_A has edit access to staticpage_A (the same for _Cool you should get the behavior you want. staticpages.edit seems to be a global right (access to edit all staticpages). This is similar to how story.edit behaved in older versions of geeklog (1.3.5 and previous I believe?). -Vinny

Thank you for your reply but something still doesn't work properly.
If you could write me the combination of assignment that should do the job I'd be much obliged.
I tried every possible combination and it still enables other users to edit the content that doesn't belong to them.
Thanks a lot!!!

For more info: i'm using GeekLog 1.3.7sr1 and StaticPages Plugin 1.2 wich gives possibility to set read i write rights. But when i set (as you told me) that Group_A and Group_B will not have staticpages.edit permission then the users of this groups will not be able to edit any static page !! For more info: I need that bouth groups will be able to edit static pages - but for example user User_A from group Group_A will have only permission to edit static page Static_A and not be able to edit static page Static_B and of course user User_B from group Group_B will have only permission to edit Static_B and not be abel to edit Static_A Write me the combination of assignment that should do the job.

I would guess that the edit option is show when the static page is displayed and from there you can edit the static page. Am I right. Yes that is a problem with Static Pages 1.2, it does not check for individual edit rights there. If you have static page edit rights then this is shown. The admin page does behave correctly though. As a temporary fix just remove the edit option from the page. I will look into this when I have time. TomW
