Hi, When an article is created you can show this article on the frontpage by creating an href to the topic where the article resides in (/index.php?topic=help) I dont want to create topics but i want to make a href to show a specific article on the frontpage. any idea? ps. i dont want to create topics because they show in the navigation. Thanks! Dave!

You can create a brand new block and put in it whatever links you want. If you want them to show up in the same block as the topics are now, then you'll have to hack the code or better yet take the easy route and use TomW's Menu Plugin.

A good way to find the specific topicless story links would be to download and drop in the siteindex files found in the downloads here. What it does is list out all the stories in your database and directly links to them. You can use the siteindex to retrieve all the story links you need, without the need for topics.---L.
