I have successfully loaded GL and when I try to perform any administrative functions as admin, i get the following error: Warning: fopen(C:/inetpub/wwwroot/geek/logs/error.log) [function.fopen]: failed to create stream: Permission denied in C:Inetpubwwwrootgeekpublic_htmllib-common.php on line 1440 Access Denied Sorry, you do not have access to the link administration page. Please note that all attempts to access unauthorized features are logged Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!!

In addition, when a user logs in and tries to select something like account information, it brings them back to the home page and logs them out. Any suggestions??

Some of the unzip programs don't extract empty directories and files. So you lose them in the process. Based on those error messages, they either got lost or you have the wrong permissions set. Try running check.php. It's located in the public_html/admin/install/ directory. It will tell you which directories and files you're missing. It will also tell you which ones you need to change permissions on to 775. You may have to make them 777.

can i perform chmod on windows??
