Standard List of Holidays for Calendar

I'm not too familiar with group calendars and sharing of event data, but has anyone created a list of "standard" holidays (4th of July, New Years, Christmas, etc.) that could be imported into the Calendar? I'm sure the data would vary by country & year. At a minimum, I think a script that would upload a flat file with the data would be good start. GL is great! Kudos to the dev team!
