I've played with GL since 1.2.5 (actually I have 1.3.7sr1), but now I have a requeriment who don't know if I can do with standard GL. I need to "mark" several users (or put these several users into a new "group" to give them access to a "download area" or something; these are will be able only for the user of these group. Anybody knows if this is possible? Any suggestions? any plugins? Or this will be impossible with the actual GL security model? Thanks in advance!

With a bit of fiddling, this should be possible with the File Management Plugin (which actually grants download access to all users by default, so you would need to fix that). bye, Dirk

I recently released a new block for managing custom groups and access rights. This makes it very easy to add a filemgmt.upload feature to a custom group or core GL group.
