Unfortunately GLs backup utility doesn't work for me but I am using phpMyAdmin 2.4.0... I just tried a backup using it and these were my selections...
1. Select All
2. Structure and Data
3. Save as File (ZIP)
4. Go!
I did not select either of the options below...
Add 'drop table'
Complete inserts
Extended inserts
Enclose table and field names with backquotes
I then dropped the database and installed the backup, everything looks fine and I haven't yet run into any problems... The reason why I am asking though is because I remember once running the backup through phpMyAdmin but I ran into problems...
Did I do it right this time or am I sitting on a time bomb?
Thanks

I've never used phpMyAdmin to do backups (since I use either Geeklog's backup function or Tony's backup script), but you may need to use the "Enclose table and field names with backquotes" when you've installed some plugins (specifically the Geekary, I think) which use non-standard characters in their table names. But since you were able to import your backup, it looks like you didn't have this problem.
bye, Dirk

Actually, this is a topic I have been meaning to bring up...
I am able to successfully backup my GL db by way of the DB Backups feature, but I am having difficulty restoring to a test db (wanting to ensure the backup / restore process I am using is working).
I am using phpMyAdmin 2.4.0 and MySQL 4.0.12, and am getting the following errors:
