This morning I decided to change the displayed title of the Older Stories block to Older Articles, to match the other changes I had made in english.php. I changed the Block Title in the Block Editor, and saved the change. Now the block is not displayed.

I tried changing the title back to Older Stories, but that didn't help. I rooted around in lib-common.php, trying to learn how this block is called, but I haven't figured it out yet. I took a look at the database using phpMyAdmin, and the older_stories block is enabled.

I tried searching this site for "block" to see if I could learn anything, but the search kept on timing out after 30 seconds.

Can anyone offer any hints about how to get my block back, hopefully with a changed title.

Try saving a story (any existing story will do - just edit it and save it again). The Older Stories block should reappear then. That's a bug and it has already been fixed in CVS. bye, Dirk
