This is a great addition for my users. Is anyone aware of an add-on that provides the ability from within the editor to browse an image library and insert image? I know that htmlarea has this capability to insert an image location but I would like users to be able to browse through local images and insert.

The functionality I'm looking for is in WebEdit Professional. "Upload images directly into your content using the powerful WebEdit Professional image manager."

A more generalized feature request is an interface for managing (browsing, adding, deleting) "stock" images & clipart that are often used in stories.

If your site has gallery or a similar gallery program, you can let the users have their own album where all those stock pics can be uploaded.

Otherwise, there's the file uploader and simple uploads from squatty's which you might want to look at.
