Yes: Use the Static Pages plugin 1.2 or wait for Geeklog 1.3.8. Please use the search functions, this has been answered several times before. bye, Dirk

thanks for the answer and thanks for thinking I didn't use the search feature.

Search for php. Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /usr/home/geeklog/geeklog/system/classes/template.class.php on line 496

Search for php in static php in center block

Thanks for making accusations before realizing that maybe somebody already did try

Try "php in static pages". Too obvious? You would be bored, too, having to answer the same questions over and over again ... bye, Dirk

Try fixing the fatal error in your search page, Dirk. Too obvious? Perhaps if you spent more time fixing bugs, and less time stroking your arrogant ego, you wouldn't be so bored. This weblog actually looks halfway decent, but perhaps "JerkLog" would be a more accurate name.

Maybe you are trying to be funny or your just ignorant (as in don't know better) but you are wayyyy off line here.

I don't need to explain to anyone that spends more then a day on this site just how much Dirk spends supporting users and giving of his personal time.

Nuff said - I too have wasted more time then necessary on someone that can't even take the time to register.

jesus christ. if you only knew how much these guys do for what you're complaining about. i've only been here a short while and have seen this question asked countless times. and when asking for help, dirk or others are quick to answer your questions and usually provide a link. i don't see how people ask for help and then *censored* when it doesn't go their way. i'd just like to thank all those developers who spend their personal time working on such awesome FREE software.

Pack sand jack and move on. Dirk does a lot and is one of the most helpful people here. He was being courteous, a concept obviously totally foreign to you. Perhaps if you had paid attention in grade school and actually learned to read for comprehension you would not have gotten a spur up your butt because he merely told you to search for a question that has been asked and answered here many times. What have you ever done for the OS community besides be a non-civilized leech? Well, I'll tell you Dirk does a lot and doesn't deserve the treatment you gave him. Put your big fat ego in check and appologize or just leave. We don't need your type of people here.

Um , maybe you should have stated that you had already searched and weren't successful. Dirk answers soooo many questions over and over , I can't blame him for suggesting something that you never said you tried.

He's busy trying to help lazy sleazebags like you solve the same problem that others have had before you. You did notice that he was the *only* person to even respond to your original request - almost everyone else here lacks Dirk's infinate patience.
Too obvious? Must be.
Perhaps if you spent more time fixing bugs, and less time stroking your arrogant ego, you wouldn't be so bored. You come off as arrogant, Dirk came off as bored - and rightly so. You should reread the whole thread , pretend that you are reading it for the first time and see what an a**hole the Anonymous guy looks like.

Well maybe you should pitch in and help - what have you done for the community lately? Jerklog - that's pretty funny - maybe we need a Don Rickles kind of chat block that fires insults back whenever you type something in - sort of like a Nasty Eliza.
