I am on step 2 of 2 on the install.php phase of the install, but when I hit 'next', I get the error message: "1050: Table 'gl_access' already exists" Any suggestions? I've tried everything I thought it might be and I've searched the site high and low... I'm a definate newb, so pretend you are explaining it to a 5th grader...

It seems you ran the install script before, so at least some of the tables already exist. Delete all the tables from your database (or drop the database and recreate it) and try again. bye, Dirk

After I sent the first message, I thought of that. I removed everything from the database and ran it again. Now I'm getting this error message: Fatal error: input in flex scanner failed in /home/lylefk/chicoareasmallbusiness-www/krannichfeld on line 1 This message also pops up when I try to run the test page. (public_html has been renamed 'krannichfeld', and is in my server's 'www' directory) Any suggestions? I hate having to ask for help, but I even tried to set it up on my other web address, and didn't get as far for some reason as I did here lol...

Well, I figured it out! In my lib-common file, i didn't put 'config.php' at the end of it...I had to go through and erase ALL the directory files again one by one, but it worked! I'm excited...thanks!

I had the exact same problem. Thanks to your comments I was able to figure it out. Did you suggest the installation documentation be updated so it's a little more explicate?
