version checker

I moved my geeklog site from a subdirectory on my site to the public_html directory. I changed the paths in my config and common_lib files, and the site seems to work well so far. The only problem is that the version checker is broken now. I re-checked the version define in my config and it is still correct. Any suggestions?

What do you mean by "broken"? What happens when you click on the Version Test link? bye, Dirk

It says that I am running an older version or a beta, and that I should upgrade. It acts as if it can't find any version information at all.
