Strange errors in error.log
rv8
I checked my error.log tonight, and I see that I have a rash of nine similar, puzzling errors on May 28 and 29. They all are identical:
Thu May 29 04:26:47 2003 - 1064: You have an error in your SQL syntax near 'ORDER BY date ASC LIMIT 100' at line 1 SQL in question: SELECT *,unix_timestamp(date) AS nice_date FROM gl_comments WHERE sid = '' AND pid = ORDER BY date ASC LIMIT 100
I pored through the visitor stats log, and could only find one click that coincided with the above entry, one of 755 hits from egspd404.teoma.com on that day:
Note: I inserted some line breaks in the above line to avoid having GL widen the whole window to fit one long URL/
I tried going to the above URL, while not logged in, and while logged in, and no new errors showed up in error.log.
So, I have a couple of questions:
1. Is this error message a symptom of any problem that I need to deal with, or should I just ignore it and have a beer? I can't find any broken functionality on my site, and no one has complained.
2. Even if I don't have a real problem, I'm curious as to what the cause of the "error" is. Any ideas?
I'm using 1.3.7SR2.
Thanks for a great CMS.
